A portfolio is not one enlarged standard batch

A multi-site solar panel collection in NSW begins with differences between actual locations. A facilities coordinator may receive one portfolio summary even though a warehouse has removed panels, an office holds an inverter as well, and a third property still has equipment installed. Shared ownership or similar system sizes do not make those scopes equivalent. Compare the present facts before asking what can be reviewed together. ReSova’s local assessment covers Sydney and selected NSW, not an automatic statewide route.

For each location, distinguish the actual equipment already safely removed by appropriately qualified people and available for ground-level handover from later work. Record its category quantities and units, broad visible state, postcode and physical point, known access facts, authorised response contact and missing information. The practical value is seeing what differs and what remains unresolved. This is not a procurement service, site survey, removal plan or technical assessment, and a table does not establish that any location will be accepted.

Visible stateCurrent front-view note; other views unconfirmed.Known frame mark disclosed; inverter state unconfirmed. No current batch observation established.

Access and contactLocal reception process supplied by warehouse contact.Gate detail unresolved; authorised facilities contact can clarify.Project coordinator holds the future plan, not current handover facts.
Review treatmentCurrent reported scope, still subject to review.Mixed scope and missing access fact remain explicit.Separate future context, not added to ready quantities.

The example deliberately leaves gaps. It does not calculate a combined price or prescribe how equipment should be stored, moved or loaded. A supported panel subtotal may help a coordinator’s own summary, but the inverter remains a different category and Location C supplies no present quantity. Unknown does not mean zero, rejected or ready. A clean-looking combined total is less useful than a comparison that preserves those distinctions.

Use the same headings at each location so missing answers are visible, not so the answers become identical. Include the date or source of existing site information where it helps identify a stale note. Do not substitute an address from an invoice, the company’s registered office or a nearby supported postcode for the physical equipment location. Postcode lookup is not a survey of the gate, ground-level point or operating restrictions.

Keep each location’s authority and access answers local

A procurement contact may assemble the comparison without controlling every property. Name who supplied the equipment information, who can clarify local entry facts and who is authorised under the organisation’s own arrangements to respond. One person can hold several roles, but a job title alone does not establish that they do. ReSova does not determine legal authority, asset ownership or site permissions for the team.

For an operating warehouse, an opening-hours note describes only that site’s reported constraint. A neighbouring office may have a different gate process or contact availability. Neither fact confirms a loading method, vehicle, visit window or common route. The operating-site access guide owns the detailed single-site brief; this comparison keeps those independent answers from being copied between properties.

If one location changes its quantity or handover point, identify that location and replace the affected information rather than rewriting every site’s status. If equipment moves between locations, make the current location clear and avoid retaining it as ready in both. The multi-batch reconciliation guide handles repeated references and historical accounting; a site comparison should not become an assumed transport itinerary.

Request a tailored comparison, not a shared collection promise

From portfolio context to site-specific review

  1. Identify actual locationsKeep company identity separate from each physical equipment point and postcode.
  2. Describe each present scopeUse current category quantities/units, visible disclosures and ground-level availability after qualified removal.
  3. Preserve local differencesRetain each access constraint, contact, source/date and unresolved question without copying another site’s answer.
  4. Separate future and changed scopeKeep installed/later phases apart; identify a revised site or moved group explicitly.
  5. Request tailored discussionAsk what needs review without assuming one price, vehicle, route, date or outcome.

Use Commercial Services for the site-by-site scope discussion and the larger-project page for project context. Do not add separate calculator outputs and present their sum as a portfolio offer. Online time selection remains paused. An enquiry, account or comparison does not promise acceptance, price, vehicle, route, timing, booking, recycling rate, reuse, processor or final destination.

ReSova does not provide electrical disconnection, removal, roof work, site-safety, traffic-management, technical-testing or legal advice. Responsible parties retain their own site and project arrangements. Provide existing facts and honest unknowns without undertaking extra handling, measurement or testing merely to complete a comparison.

Sources and comparison limits — checked 19 October 2026

PV CYCLE distinguishes company address, equipment location, hours and on-site contact. Soren similarly distinguishes the requesting company from collection location and local contact. The useful global lesson is not to collapse those entities. Their forms do not establish Australian rules, a ReSova account requirement, vehicle suitability or a local date. Original page publication/update dates were not established; the checked date records inspection, not a new announcement.

Key takeaways

  • Keep one factual description per actual location.
  • Comparable headings do not mean identical readiness, access or contacts.
  • A portfolio sender need not be the local fact holder for every property.
  • A comparison starts tailored review; it does not establish a common price, vehicle, route or date.

Frequently asked questions

Can several sites use one combined panel count for a collection review?

A supported total can be project context, but it cannot replace each site's current category quantities, ground-level point, visible-condition disclosures, access, contact and unknowns. Different sites do not become one standard estimator job.

Can one portfolio manager confirm every site's access?

Only state facts actually supported under the organisation's own arrangements. Identify the local fact holder and authorised response contact; do not infer gate access, authority or availability from the portfolio manager's job title.

What if one location has not completed removal?

Keep that location's installed, connected or future-stage equipment separate from present ready quantities. Other sites may have current facts for review, but that does not accept them or establish a common visit.

Does a site comparison establish one vehicle, price or collection date?

No. Neither a portfolio table, similar panel counts, nearby postcodes nor common ownership confirms acceptance, shared routing, a vehicle, pricing, timing, booking or a downstream outcome. Request tailored scope and availability discussion.

Discuss the Site-by-Site Collection Scope

ReSova considers eligible, already removed equipment in Sydney and selected NSW areas after the ground-level handover and site access can be confirmed. It does not decide removal, technical condition or a final downstream outcome.
